About Me
Originally from Toronto, Canada, I focus on starting and developing young horses, as well as rebuilding those that have lost confidence.
My approach has been shaped by my time working for Tristan Tucker in the Netherlands and Morten Thomsen in Denmark.
Zap Zap who went on to a international Grand Prix career
Morten Thomsen gave me the foundation to work hard, take on responsibility, and approach training with curiosity, always questioning the why and how behind the process.
During my time with him, I had the opportunity to develop a very special young horse, Zap Zap. It was also there that I met Tristan Tucker and Will Rogers.
After moving to the Netherlands, I built on that foundation and, under Tristan’s guidance, developed a level of feel and understanding with horses that reshaped how I work.
Through this experience, I have seen how the TRT Method can positively influence the partnership between horse and rider, both in training and beyond. My approach today is owed to those years, and by the hundreds of horses I have had the opportunity to learn from.
